About
I work in a phone-triage centre and am increasingly dealing with individuals who are socially isolated or need assistance in managing the day-to-day. My first job was as a primary school teacher (back in the 20th century) and since then as a paramedic. The common thread to both these careers has been dealing with people and hopefully being a source of assistance along the way. I am fortunate to have contacts with a lot of people with varied knowledge, particularly in health and mental health. I think these would prove helpful with advice and direction. I am the family historian, am slowly improving my writing skills, play rhythm guitar, and enjoy whisky, cigars and good conversation.
