I enjoy connecting with all different types of people and I love animals too. I have 4 children, mostly grown up and an elderly mother, so I am used to taking care of people. I come across lots of people in my job as a volunteer coordinator at a community centre. I love helping and talking with people. I also love listening to them. I have a diploma of counselling and lots of experience as a community support worker, which I do both as a volunteer and as part of my job. I treat everyone I meet without judgment and with compassion and empathy.^& ^&I often help people who come into the community centre where I work with their phones or computer problems, for example logging onto mygov or adding their vaccination certificates to their phones. I often listen to a client tell their story because they have no one else to tell; I am a very good listener.^&
