About

I want to be a Social Carer because I would love to have a rewarding career making other people's lives that little bit better. I believe I have the skill-sets, passion and live experience to provide a valuable service to my community in this way. I am a musician and teacher. My main instrument is the tuba, which I play in a nearby community orchestra, and I am Musical Director of the local community band. I also sing, write songs and play guitar, and am considering Music Therapy as an occupation. I am as keen swimmer, runner and cyclist, activities that I balance with yaga and pilates. I was brought up on a sheep and cattle farm, can ride a horse and have reasonable DIY maintenance skills. I keep these skills in practice (apart from horse riding) on my own suburban house and garden.
