I am applying for the position at ‘Like Family’ as a social worker; as I am passionate about supporting anyone and everyone. I have just enrolled to do my bachelor of psychology and feel that this course would benefit me to gain the knowledge relevant to this field of study. I am confident in conversing with people. I have no prior experience in this exact position but i have loads of experience dealing with customers and clients through my varied job roles. I completed my first aid last year 2021. I have also done my S2 and S3 in pharmacy. I also help my partner alongside his gardening business and would be more than happy to assist the clients in the garden or general cleaning duties. Years ago I volunteered at an age care centre and loved chatting with the elders - hearing there life stories and learning from them. I am close with my great grandma and grandparents and it’s amazing what you can learn from them. I am Truly Excited about this job opportunity and look forward to hearing from you. It helps mentally stimulate and release positive endorphins. Although not every client loves dogs I’m sure they enjoy going out and having a coffee, tea or smoothie and we can chat until our hearts are content. If they are up for a walk along the beach or even sitting on a bench overlooking the water. You’d be surprised at how little people incorporate this small activity in day to day life but how much of an impact it can make. I always stop and chat to everyone, it makes my day and I hope it makes there’s. ^&
