Pleased to meet you, my name is Lauren. I am convinced that care work is my calling; I come alive at the thought of delivering person-centred care in order to facilitate empowerment, independence and wellbeing for ALL people. I have a deep love for people and believe that all humans are equal in value, and deserve to be seen and heard, loved, and treated with dignity. It’s my joy to provide reliable social support (and emotional and spiritual support, where appropriate) as well all kinds of practical support! For those requiring transport, I drive a quality, well-maintained, modern vehicle with comprehensive and business insurance. In my spare time, I love hanging out with my (deaf) Border collie, Blossom, who is a qualified Delta therapy dog. Other than that I love learning new things, gardening and making spaces beautiful and functional. Formal references from my three years experience are happily provided on request.
