About
Since having time away from work raising children for an extended period I wanted to take on a role that was rewarding from a social perspective when returning to the workforce. My parents are both in their 80's back in NZ and when I visit I enjoy supporting them as a daughter and career. Over the past year I was employed as a Domestic assistant with Mecwacare providing home duties for a range of clients across the Torquay area. I found this rewarding and enjoyable however I am now looking for a role and responsibility with more variety and engagement with clients opposed to only a short visit for home duties. ^& ^&In my time working with Mecwacare I had connected with several clients and when meeting we would exchange recipes, cooking ideas and gardening interests. Taking this into consideration I see that I would be able to engage with people on topics that we have a common interest in such as cooking or gardening as examples and to spend the time with them to explore these.^&
