I would love to connect with people with diverse backgrounds. I did my bachelor and master in social welfare in China and was a community social worker for one year. I came to Australia in 2015 and conducted a PhD study in social work at Monash University. During those seven years of studying and working in Australia, I have built very good communication and interpersonal skills. I can easily understand people from different cultural backgrounds. I have a great passion to learn from different people and build connections with them. By having connections with people also make my life fulfilling and meaningful. Currently, I am studying Master of Social Work and undertaking the first placement in Ermha365. I am involved in the Care Respite Program, and have been running respite activities including art groups, coffee catch up, family BBQ and movie for carers who care for people experiencing mental health conditions since January 2022. I would love to connect with more people and create a sense of community with people together. ^& ^&I would say it depends on how we both agree to try one thing together. For example, I enjoy explore different parks in Melbourne and have a walk. I may share the adventurous experiences of exploring different parks and invite the person to try once with me. We will choose a park nearby first that we all haven't been there. When we walked in the park, I will invite the person to take photos with some special sceneries. If the person likes such kind of activities, we can organise a time regularly to explore parks. Each time, we can plan together (including the park selection, snack or picnic preparation, or the cloth and equipment preparation). Or we plan in turn each time. ^&
