I believe I would make a great social carer due to many reasons, I have experience as a support worker in aged care and in-home and community which allowed me to increase my skill set across the board. I have a fun and easy going personality which makes me easy to build a rapport with and feel comfortable. I am creative with activities and things to do even if it's a rainy day outside. I am empathetic and caring which has enabled me to bond closer with the person I am supporting. ^& ^&If my client was unsure what they would like to engage in for an activity that day I would let my creative side take over and assist them with providing options and various activities they we can do so they do not feel overwhelmed. ^&
