I have been working as an Aged Care support worker for the last five years; I have what it takes to be working as a caring person. Please read more about me in the next question. I enjoy connecting with others and providing individual and compassionate care to each person I work with, ensuring their rights and needs are respected, and being reliable and punctual; I'm passionate that my clients are empowered to do their hobbies, such as cooking, playing board games, gardening, and cultural activities safely, and their rights are respected. I am a very clean and organised individual who always likes to upgrade the working area and pay close attention to detail. In addition, I have experience cooking a range of international meals, as part of my travelling experience. In addition, I am a fluent Spanish and English speaker qualified to teach both languages. At present, I am learning Italian. I am a very dedicated person with my clients: 1.- I prepare a weekly care plan where I specify every aspect of the person I am taking care of; this is very useful whether for the client's carer or myself. I can see the progress of my client and the progression outcome allows me to modify it to take advantage of the time supporting the client. 2. I talk with the main carer often and also provide support to them, understanding their personal needs and tasks they have to do. 3. I make sure that all aspects of caring are provided, and especially I observe the client very well and write down every single change so I can address things in different ways. 4. I travelled extensively overseas, including Europe and the Asian-Pacific regions, which allowed me to value even more multiculturalism in Australia, and provided me with the necessary skills to work with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
