I have a strong sensitivity and deep empathy for individuals and families who are among minority groups, marginalized or victimized. Social justice is a big reason I pursued my role in social work, and I believe strongly in helping and advocating for others who may be unable to do so on their own.^& ^&I love to keep fit and eat healthy. I would share this by engaging my client in light physical activities beneficial to their well being and cook healthy dietary meals according to their needs. I enjoy listening to meditation music and this therapy has shown promise in providing a safe and supportive environment for healing trauma and building resilience while decreasing anxiety levels and improving the functioning of depressed individuals.^&
