Why would I make a great social carer ? As an individual Im extremely compassionate, understanding and nonjudgmental. I have always had a passion and interest in helping and supporting others when in difficult times. I will always do what I can to help someone who needs help. I have worked in retails for 7 years in a customer service role and loved the daily interactions with regular customers. These were usually senior customers who would love to have a chat. I would also make sure to make the time to have a chat about their day. As for some customers I would be there only point of contact for that day. For the last 8 years I have worked in childcare (still current) which I absolutely love. It allows me to form professional relationships with families, allows me to be creative when making the fortnightly program and planning experiences while also working alongside other amazing individuals (my coworkers) I would love to express my interest in joining your team and helping individuals with day to task, learning new skills and most importantly having fun. I am more than happy to study and relevant course that may be required as this is a pathway I would love to learn more about. I have a huge passion for animals and have two dogs and 3 cats (all of which are rescued).
