About
I have always had a passion for helping and getting to meet and know people. Growing up, I witnessed the challenges faced by family members and friends who required support due to age, illness, or disability and this ignited my desire to help people with special needs. Working as a social carer provides a perfect opportunity for me to help people while I also pursue my passion as a form of employment, all while positively impacting the people I work with. I believe I’ll excel in this role because I’m compassionate and empathetic and a strong adaptability and problem solving still and as such will be capable of handling whatever challenging situations arise. I also have a current First Aid and CPR certificate which I believe is an added plus to ensure the safety and well being of all that I work with Travelling, going on drives, art, sports especially soccer, basketball, nrl and afl. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, word games and watching movies or listening to music. I’m a very good listener and an interactive person.
