I am passionate about social inclusion and love to get involved in activities within my community. I have previously worked in aged care and with senior citizens and loved providing social support to allow them to continue being engaged with their community. I believe I would be great as a social carer as I have experience working with senior citizens, young people and those who identify as having a disability. I am extremely compassionate and hard-working, wanting to spend any extra time I have supporting people who require additional assistance. I have quite a wide range of passions, skills and hobbies! My weekends are typically spent doing advocacy work, with local members of parliament or not-for-profits, out in nature or in a gallery. I love to go out on nature walks and the occasional hike, seeking out new definitions each time. I am a lover of the arts as well, attending local galleries and pop-up exhibitions whenever I have the chance. Further, I have a love for cleaning and maintaining home spaces. I am very skilled at cleaning cars and homes, and love to teach others simple tips that can help them maintain their spaces easier and more efficiently. In terms of skills, I am an excellent communicator and have a great ability to get along with people from all walks of life. I seek to explore my passions through community and volunteer work, as such I have a wide range of volunteer experience. From these volunteer jobs, I have experience working with CALD communities, people who identify as having a disability, senior citizens, people who have contact with the criminal justice system and young people.
