I care very deeply about enabling expression and the flourishing of life! I am currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy and for the last year I have been doing one to one teaching/ enabling of creative art expression and skills with children and young adults usually with a trauma history or Autism. I am an artist and have worked for many years in the commercial and not for profit art industries and now maintain a studio practice using organic pigments. I love to laugh and have a warm open nature but I also have a deep capacity to be with the serious and the difficult. I always focus on being really present. I wish to offer my energy, care and love for real relationship building to others who may be lacking that connection in their lives or who could do with some more of it. I 35 years old, mature and creative and I have a lot of nurturing energy to give.^& ^&I would love to connect with people who are interested in exploring their creative expression as I have experience using all visual art mediums and a deep passion for this type of exploration (also studying this process). That said, I approach most things with that same level of enthusiasm and curiosity and I am open to helping others to find what they are drawn to exploring and to help to enable and facilitate that exploration with them. I am health-focused and practice meditation, so I would try to integrate some mindfulness practices when sharing with others, by having an awareness of helping to calm and ground people energetically. I have a thorough knowledge of history, culture, art, psychology, spirituality, wellness and would be able to offer interesting conversations and insights when being with people whether that be helping in domestic tasks, transporting them or visiting a museum, but I would always approach any relationship with the hope to enable them to open up to their own potential/ interests and curiosities, to help them to be more of themselves. ^&
