About
I am passionate about helping others, and helping wherever I can. I am an eldest sibling and have grown up with always having to look after other people but I believe, for me, the most important factor in helping others is that it feels natural and innate and not like work. I believe I would be a great social carer as I adopt a person- centred approach and put my clients first in everything we do. I believe in the freedom of choice and enriching lives and will be there to support them every step of the way and encourage my clients to live their best lives. I absolutely love the outdoors and exploring whenever I can. I love camping, four-wheel driving and travelling to new places. A dream of mine is to travel all around Australia. I also really enjoy reading and learning about new topics. At the moment I am trying to get into baking and teach myself some new recipes. I have a Dalmatian dog and she takes up a lot of my time exercising her but makes the best sidekick on our adventures. I am a very driven and hardworking person. I pride myself on my kindness and morals. I try to be as positive as I can and not sweat the small stuff. I love learning new things so if there is a topic I'm unsure about, I will learn as much as I can about it for the next time.
