I'm a people person! I enjoy spending time with people and supporting them in day-to-day activities. I'm from a big family and this has taught me to acknowledge and appreciate everyones differences. Being a youth worker means, I have had plenty of experience with people from all walks of life and i have cherished all my interactions. I believe in learning from experiences and therefore I am always working on being a better version of myself. I am always up for a challenge and excited to learn and grow in a new role.^& ^&If i were to share one of my skills or hobbies with someone in the community i would take the time to explain what it is and what i enjoy about and then i would try to engage them in it. For example, one of my interests is meditation, therefore i would take the time to explain what meditation is and the benefits it can have. I would then show them an example, maybe even play a guided meditation video and have them join in if they are willing.^&
