About
My motivation to become a social carer comes from a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. I have always been driven by the desire to support individuals through challenging times by providing both emotional and practical assistance. I believe I will do exceptionally well in this role due to my strong sense of empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills. My ability to connect with people, coupled with a commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect, ensures that I can offer the compassionate care that is essential for this job. I am a passionate girl with a love for music. I enjoy playing the organ and am currently learning to play the guitar, which allows me to express myself musically. Singing has been important to me ever since I was small. It brings joy and energy into my life, and I would say it is my favourite thing to do. In addition to my musical interests, I love spending time baking and finding new recipes. When I'm not engaged in these activities, you would probably find me stuck with a book as I love to read as well. I am a Sri Lankan who moved to Australia for my higher education. I am currently doing my Bachelors in Nursing at Australian Catholic University in Ballarat. I absolutely love my degree and I believe helping people emotionally and physically has always been something I have been passionate about.
