About
I’m in empathetic person who gets enjoyment from saying others develop and learn, laugh and smile. I care for two disabled children at home (one ASD) who are young adults with NDIS support workers, and I have done theory for Cert 4 Disability support work theory through Australasian Lawrence Age Care College. I have helped two families as an advocate with the NDIS. I have done only a little volunteering in the past (such as lawn mowing) due to the need to provide care at home, and the nature of my previous work life, but now we have support workers ourselves I can look forward to being able to help others more.^& ^&I am the home cook and have travelled quite a bit, and enjoy many cuisines. It’s like a holiday in the home if built into a virtual travel experience - documentary and local style meal. I enjoy making practical things for the house. Getting out into the world, especially nature.^&
