I have a passion for working with the elderly, I have over 10 years of experience this has covered cleaning and cooking for them to being their carer and their nurse giving out medications. I think they have so much to teach us, and love to listen to their life stories. I moved to Australia from England when I was sixteen with my mum brother and sister. I gained a stepfather and stepbrothers then met my husband and had my own family we are still married today. When my children started school, I started my career with the aged in the community and progressed to carer and Enrolled Nurse in aged care facilities. I have had cancer, chronic pain, and palliative care experience with my family and palliative care experience in aged care. Everyone needs someone to help, respect and empathise to their situation without prejudice or judgement. My one goal in life is to bring comfort and help to everyone I can. ^& ^&I have a passion for hiking , I would take them up to Parawirra for a walk around the lake , maybe sit and have some lunch feed the ducks. I would also like to cook some biscuits or make a meal together. Play some board games or read a book. Listen to music or do some gardening. Maybe just some daily cleaning and make them lunch or dinner. I think I would do what the client wanted to do if this was possible.^&
