I have quite a lot of experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I have served as an instructor, in the ADF, and at both post-graduate and ab initio levels. I have worked as a sales representative, for an international company selling products around the world, to people of all socio-economic backgrounds. I have worked in retail positions and I am also a Joey Leader with Scouts Australia. In all of these positions I have thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with other people and I get a great sense of achievement from helping people in many different ways. I have also made a great many friends through these interactions. How I share any of my skills or hobbies, with someone in the community, will depend upon who they are, what they are interested in and what they are capable of. To determine how I would share my skills with them, I would need to determine the best course of action to suit that individual. That being done, it could be as simple as taking someone fishing. I have a 4.5m boat with plenty of room to take someone out for the day to scare some fish or just have a nice day on the water. Alternatively, I could simply take them to a safe land-based location and fish from there for a while. Or, it could simply involve working on a hobby or art project at their home and encouraging them to experiment with ideas or mediums.
