I'm a passioned to help people! My family is large and I had a sister who suffered schizophrenia, also I have grandmother, I got a lot of experience in lots of areas especially like cooking and taking care of people. I was born in Colombia and I have my bachelor degree as a business management and my roll always was around people, doing training and teaching, although I don´t have any certificate or bachelor in caring people I have my self with passion and experience. ^& ^&First at all We know that with age comes a corresponding normal decline in sensory function, including vision, hearing, and touch. As we age, most of us lose some coordination, flexibility, and balance. Also some people are living with chronic disease. I would like to share how I use to dance with my grandmother, I use to asked her which kind of music she wants to dance, then according to the type of music, I had to prepare herself and mineself for it. After that I would turn up the volume of the music and start giving her specific directions for example " step your right foot to the right site " " give me your left hand and tourn around slowly" Also I had encourage her saying " Grandma smile please " " you are doing good job!, you are the best! " During that time, I had to be patient, repeat and be consistent because some time my grandma lost her concentration on it but we really enjoy our time dancing together. ^&
