I have a deep interest in helping people. I graduated with a Master of Social Work in 2021. During my study, I have developed skills and knowledge in supporting vulnerable people in society. Becoming a social carer, I have the potential to make a massive difference in someone’s life. I am supportive, trustworthy, and respectful of other cultures, feelings. I empathize with other people's struggles or pain. I love to support disadvantaged people to reach their potential and do whatever they want in their lives. I understand that everyone will have their own stories and I will listen without judgment and help them to achieve their goals.^& ^&Volunteering is something I enjoy. Especially when I’m volunteering to teach a skill that could help underprivileged people overcome something they struggle with or skills that would enable them to lead an independent life. For example, I was involved in the Ability Art Class at my first placement at Picabeen Community Centre. I love creating new crafts from paper so I assist the people who came into the class to learn a new skill and enjoy the creative atmosphere. ^&
