I have been working in Community Services for nearly 7 years and have a real passion for supporting and empowering people. I love getting out and about with people in the community allowing them to feel safe and supported and empower them.^& ^&Firstly I would get to know the individual and engage in what they enjoy doing. I would then discuss some interests I have and if they were keen to have a look into what my hobbies are would slowly introduce them showing them pictures, explaining to them what is involved and taking them through the steps at a pace that they could manage. I would not force my hobby on a person but would engage them in a way that would not overwhelm them.^&
