I have been in the field of social work for over 4 years as a support worker in both aged care and disability. I found being a carer as very rewarding. I came to Australia as a student, I had no family or relatives with me and being a carer is what made me feel like I have people around me to talk to, learn and do activities together who I saw as friends or colleagues, I viewed the people I supported like family. Supporting others helped me create great relationships and overcome the fear of being lonely. Participating in changing ones life it's a great achievement and it's a passion that I have. I am an independent thinker with excellent problem solving skills. I am a good listener with great communication skills. I am empathetic, Patient and love to meet new people and learn new things.
