I have been working as a support worker now for 2 years and I thoroughly enjoy this type of work. I worked for Qantas Airways for 17 years in Sydney, always working in customer service roles, we then moved from Sydney to Noosa, when Covid hit I decided to study Community Services and ventured off into another career path. I just love being around people, assisting people is my forte. I have great social skills that I could bring to your organization, my listening skills are excellent, my ears are my work tools. Seeing people happy is what I thrive on, I like to know at the end of the day my clients are happy, and they enjoyed their day. I always think of others and what they would like to achieve in the day. It's been said that being a Social Carer is my type of work, my calmness, integrity, patience and honesty is what makes me work well with being a Social Carer. I like to give my best at social support whilst assisting the client with independent living. ^& ^&Life Skills is what I can bring to assist someone in the community, from food prepping, cooking, grocery shopping to learning how to use public transport, going to a yoga class, an art gallery or a theatre show with a crowd, the Life Skills list is endless. It's important to be mindful to allow clients to make their own decisions in order to maintain and improve independent living. ^&
