I have worked in the customer service for most of my working life in various industries with an extensive range of cultures and lifestyles and pride myself on my inclusiveness and ability to engage with people from all walks of life. I speak several different languages including French, Arabic and Italian and have lived in several different countries where I quickly adapted to the new society I was living in. I also have assisted people who immigrated to these countries in settling in and completing paperwork and anything required to set up their new life in a foreign environment.I enjoy the social interaction with my neighbours, of which quite a few are elderly and find gratification in helping them with various tasks around their houses that they cannot do on their own.I am a social, positive person who enjoys listening to music and going to the movies – in fact my movie knowledge is quite extensive! I love to go camping and four wheel driving with my wife and children. Pre COVID we were avid travellers.I have a drivers licence and vehicle and am currently applying for an ABN and am fully vaccinated against COVID and the flu. ^& ^&I have worked unofficially as a social support worker for the last year and a half around my paid work for my wife’s mother who has a permanent back injury. This has included cooking meals, taking her to doctor’s appointments, shopping and assisting and spending time with her as she enjoys hobbies such as gardening and sewing.My previous experience as a chef in the UK and my love for cooking enables me to make quick and healthy meals for my mother-in-law which she enjoys immensely. ^&
