I love learning about people and helping them to live life! I have a family, including a daughter who has autism. Not only do I have lived experience supporting and loving her, I have also worked in a Special School and Speech Pathology Clinic. It is through all of these experiences I have gained greater education and insight driving my desire to provide support to everyone to live their own life and achieve their own goals. I have experienced first hand how amazing compassionate support can completely change lives. I believe absolutely everyone deserves this opportunity. I would seek out what my client is interested in and enable them to have an experience. If my client loved gardening (but wasn't able to) and wanted to have an outing I would take her to cafe that has a beautiful garden that we could wonder through. I would research before hand that it had the appropriate access and would even seek out if someone would be able to give us a short guided tour which would enable the client to have conversations and connections with others. I could also make further suggestions like plant identification app to enable plant identiciation and more discussion/conversation. This could also lead to discussing clients own gardening needs etc etc
