About

I believe I would make a great social carer due to several qualities and skills I have developed; I am very empathetic and compassionate. Throughout my nursing studies and interactions with patients, I have cultivated a deep sense of compassion and empathy. I genuinely care about people's well-being and understand the importance of providing emotional support. I also have strong communication skills; as a nursing student and ride operator, I have had the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of individuals. Effective communication is crucial in both roles, whether it's explaining medical procedures to patients or providing clear instructions to park visitors. These experiences have honed my ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds and adapt my approach to suit their needs. Problem-solving skills; working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment like a theme park has enhanced my problem-solving skills. I have learned to think quickly on my feet, make sound decisions under pressure, and adapt to unexpected situations. These skills are valuable when dealing with the various challenges that can arise in social care settings. Patient advocacy; I have learned the importance of advocating for patient's rights and well-being. I am dedicated to ensuring that individuals in my care receive the support, respect, and attention they deserve. I can effectively communicate their needs to others and work collaboratively to provide comprehensive care.^& ^&I believe I am a creative individual, I would love to be partnered with someone and collaborate and share ideas and work on art therapy. Art activities can be very therapeutic for the mind, it would be in my best interest to create a calm and supportive environment and be able to engage in conversations. By sharing my creative skills through art therapy sessions with individuals in the community, I can provide them with a therapeutic outlet, a sense of accomplishment, and an opportunity for self-expression. Such sessions can promote cognitive stimulation, emotional well-being, and social interaction, enhancing their overall quality of life.^&
