I love making a difference in people's lives, whether that is helping them develop new skills or assisting them with their day-to-day activities. Over the past three years I have had the privilege to connect with a range of different people which has given me the experience to be a great Social Carer. When introducing someone to your hobby, start with the basics. Don’t overwhelm them with too much information or too many details. Instead, focus on the most important aspects of your hobby and build from there. Everyone learns at their own pace. Be patient and take the time to explain things clearly. Encourage questions and be willing to answer them. People like knowing what to expect. You should always start with a demonstration of exactly what you’ll be doing before you start.
