I grew up as part of a large family and now I have a large family of my own (5 children) 3 of which have additional needs (ASD). I have 4 years experience working in childcare and am very patient. I enjoy enabling people to overcome their personal obsticals and living the best life they can. as I have a large family I enjoy most outdoor activities from fishing and boating to camping, bush walks and attending sporting events and concerts. my experience in retail and childcare has provided me with experience in supporting people with a wide range of abilities and experiences. i currently have a family of 3 children with ASD as clients who have been my clients for past couple years and im looking to build on from this casual care arrangement. ^& ^&I would share my fishing skills with a client in the community by taking them to a local waterway to go fishing, this would include me taking enough fishing gear for everyone attending, providing bait and teaching them how to fish if they are inexperienced or if they are experienced it would allow me to provide them with the enjoyment of a hobby that they do not have the ability to partake in without assistance. I would also take them camping in a bush stye retreat where there is open areas for a campfire to do camp cooking/ bbqs, fishing or hiking but also has facilities available for showers, toilets ect. ^&
