I have and am still currently working as an Assistant in Nursing in Aged Care. I am a contractor so I get 'thrown in the deep end' almost every shift on my allocations. Sometimes the same facility request for me. I love people. I find being a carer to be very satisfying and rewarding in making a difference in someone's life. I have always shown the utmost respect and dignity in my job. I work hard and like a challenge. I also had a young, homeless woman move into my home in 2020 during the onset of the pandemic. She is now independent. I wouldn't just have anyone in my home and separate work from home, however, this was a very critical need that she had. I'm friendly and kind. I have a great sense of humour. I just love being a carer. I also have my own vehicle and have full comprehensive car insurance. ^& ^&I would communicate to someone by just listening to find their specific needs and wants showing empathy and kindness. ^&
