Hi, I am a kind and compassionate lady looking to support people in my community. I wish to provide a sense of dignity and assist people to remain supported in their own homes. I intermittently care for my aging mother and mother in law when required. My step son has Asperger’s as well as a few other health issues and I help my husband support him with life challenges. This has given me a great understanding and appreciation of those that require help and support. I would love to share all my skills or hobbies but if I need to choose one it would be macrame. But it would depend on the interest of my person. I would start by showing the basic knots required slowly and carefully giving time and making it a fun time. Then progress to whatever they would like to create. . I enjoy socialising and meeting new people and getting out and about and enjoying the fresh air. Walking and talking. I have intermediate computer skills, I enjoy card games, board games, jigsaw puzzles. I like most genre's of music (but not really fond of Opera), theatre productions and the ballet. I love my little fur baby as you can see in my pic. He’s a real sweetheart and I’m sure if he could talk he would. He’s extremely smart and such a character. I may be 59 years young but I’m pretty fit and still enjoy learning new things every day.
