I wanted to become a social carer because i love helping people, i am caring and i would love to give ideas/skills to someone else and see the joy they get from what i can share with them. I love getting out and about and seeing what this beautiful place has to offer. A nice cup of coffee at a nice quiet cafe and enjoy the view and fresh air. I enjoy cooking and cake decorating. I am a mad sewer and make baby goods as well as puppets and teddy bears. I also sew dog coats and beds. I am also a milliner and love designing and creating race hats and fascinators, working with different items like feathers, flowers and even crocodile leathers. I have recently moved to the Sunshine Coast from Cairns in Far North Qld to be closer to family. I have a background of about 14years working in Pharmacy and 21years in administration work. I am very motivated and as much as i look forward to being able to share my passions with people, i also look forward to listening and learning about what other people enjoy. What makes them tick, and hopefully being able to help them get encouragement back to keep going with what they love if they have lost that.
