I love meeting and connecting with people & good at finding common ground with others. My background is childcare but I've worked in a variety of industries giving me broad experience with people. I worked in the music industry for many years & enjoyed working in a creative environment. In the past I've booked music on a regular basis for Ramsey Clinic Northside Hospitals and volunteered for organisations eg Oxfam. I'm currently working in aged care but would like to branch out to try social work. I'm inspired by my son who joined Like Family and had an incredible experience as social carer for a lovely young boy. Movies - I love film & movies and will be happy to accompany people to the cinema. Music - I enjoy listening to all genres of music from pop/rock to classical. I'm happy to listen to music and dance & sing along at home or at a concert. Cooking & gardening - I enjoy trying new recipes and can help others cook (I'm mainly vegetarian) I'm interested in learning about plants & helping others create beautiful green spaces. Art - I love Galleries & enjoy the shared experience of looking at beautiful art & learning history - I'm happy to accompany others. Travel - research into various countries, discussing travel destinations & planning trips.
