I’m 52 years and have been married to my husband Alex for 25 years. We have 3 wonderful sons, aged 19, 18 and 16. I have been a proud stay at home mum for 20 years, before that I worked full time in Childcare. I hold ann Associate Diploma in Childcare. Over the past 10 years plus I have been dedicated helping care for our 4 elderly parents. I would go grocery shopping, cook meals, go on outings for fun or medical appointments. I was always available to provide care and support. Sadly, our parents passed away in 2015, 2017, 2021 and 2023. I feel I’m now ready and able to give support to a person/s in need as this gives me great joy. I’m extremely organised, patient and capable to multitask with good communication and management skills. My valuable trait is loyalty and reliability. After being ‘’matched’’ with a member in the community I would enjoy speaking with the individual and any family members to find out what hobbies, interests they have and I would go home and plan activities after the feedback given. I do believe it’s important to be flexible as peoples needs and wants change day to day, so it’s best to plan ahead with more than one options. For example. A plan maybe to go for a walk on the waterfront at Rose Bay and the day is forecasted to rain. I would make sure there would be another alternative such as visiting the library, movies or enjoying a coffee at a local cafe. ^&
