I’ve always been driven by the desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. My decision to become a Social Carer was reinforced through my work with an 18-year-old client who has autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and experiences seizures. Supporting him in a supported independent living (SIL) environment has allowed me to develop the skills and patience required to manage complex needs, ensuring both his safety and well-being. I’m confident in my ability to provide compassionate, personalized care that enhances the quality of life for individuals with diverse challenges. I’m passionate about helping individuals live independently and with dignity. My strengths include effective communication, adaptability, and a strong attention to detail—especially important when dealing with seizure management. In my personal time, I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family, which keeps me energized and grounded for the work I do. I hold a Certificate IV in Disability and have a background in management and building construction, which has helped me develop strong organizational and leadership skills. These qualifications allow me to effectively manage responsibilities and ensure that my clients receive high-quality, personalized care.
