I am convinced that I would do a great job as a Social Carer because I am genuinely interested in helping others to make their lives better. I had the opportunity to discover this when I was taking care of my father at home in my home country. He was not ill, but he used to need help to do simple things on a daily basis because of his age. I understood with him that the most valuable retribution that I can receive is to know that the things that I do have a positive impact on someone else's life. I consider myself patient, empathetic, responsible, active and a good listener. I am interested in meeting new people, learning from them and contributing to improve their lives. I love nature. I am fan of pets and enjoy going for a walk, visiting parks with trees, lakes and listening to the birds. This is an activity that I can share with someone in the community who want to have some time outdoors. I also enjoy reading because it is a way to learn new things. I can read for someone else or help him/her to find books or information about the topics he/she is interested in. Finally I enjoy solving puzzles, I think it is a good activity to train your brain. It could be a good plan to share with someone who want to spent his/her time at home.
