Having an opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of another individual is what gives me the greatest joy in life. I come from a family that holds a very strong cultural background, although now we live in a great country of Australia. When in tougher times in Zimbabwe the values of love, respect and compassion where what i was always taught when interacting with everyone around me. I currently study Nursing and hope to one day carry out those same values in the hospital field. I have worked as personal support carer for over a year and understand that Being a Social carer is much more than just being a supervisor but requires one to have compassion, patience and understanding. I know these are qualities I possess when coming across any individual. One of my hobbies is playing sports, i have grown up always loving anything involved with exercise. I would share my hobby with someone in the community by using sport as not just a way to get fit but rather a tool to gaining a different perspective on everyday values. Such as the importance of teamwork, patience, hard work etc. This way sport becomes more than just a fun timewaster but also a learning opportunity.
