I want to be a social worker so I can apply my skills as a communicator. I love learning about others and helping others find ways to overcome challenges in their lives, so a career in social work is something I feel a calling for. I also feel that families who struggle through painful and challenging circumstances can benefit from my knowledge of healthy communication techniques to better connect with one another and cope with stress in healthier ways.^& ^&People like knowing what to expect, and hobby is no different. We should always start with a demonstration of exactly what we will be doing before your friend/ client starts. Simply giving an example is great, but explain what’s going on in our head the decisions we are making and why. It will show friends/ clients what things they should be thinking, whether that’s simply remembering what’s coming next, or knowing how to approach a challenge. ^&
