About

I was born in a family of 4 siblings, and being the youngest. I supported and assisted my dad who had an accident when I was at the age of 20years. Supporting my dad gave me the passion to support others in my family. Since then, I have work experience with both vibrant and vulnerable people from different backgrounds, assisting and empowering them in all arrears of their lives. I am also working with Zest Care as a family and disability support worker. Some of the clients I work with have complex issues such as dementia, down syndrome, autism, intellectual disability and other physical health disabilities, and to assist them in their daily living skills. During my time, I have proven my ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, have developed strong interpersonal skills, and have worked with culturally and linguistically diverse groups. My previous and current duties have allowed me to use my passion, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients, and to empower them in becoming more independent and towards a better lifestyle. My strong verbal and written communication skills have been well utilized in all my roles and I have also demonstrated this through effective report writing including but not limited to progress notes and incident reports. I hold a Degree and Diploma of Community Services, and Cert IV in disability. I have a strong desire and find it very rewarding to make a positive difference in people’s live. ^& ^&By engaging and introducing to the person with some of to the skills I acquired.
