Growing up in a multicultural country like Fiji Islands gave me a chance to experience a lot of diversity, empathetic and compassionate by nature, i listen to try and understand instead of listening to reply. I grew up with an extended family of 11 individuals, constant travels from Fiji to Australia further broadened my views to the world. As a nurse, i have cared for many individuals from differing walks of life in different age groups, with my unique set of skills, i am confident that i will be a great social carer. Helping and being there for people in need and assistance is a calling, not just a job.^& ^&Teach them what i have learnt from my own life experiences living in a diverse multicultural country who has traveled to Australia on multiple occasions. Nursing skills aim to empower individuals, it will be useful during care and support. Organise and plan for activities that are fun, empowering, and safe. Singing and Dancing to Beyonce and Celine Dion. Teach them my culture if they so wish to and ask them more questions about their own culture. Listen and make plans accordingly to their wants and needs ^&
