About

I have a deep passion to work with people, especially those who may need extra support to enjoy daily activities that most of us can take for granted. Being the only girl in a large family of boys I have developed skills in cooking, cleaning and caring for my large extended family. I currently study Occupational therapy at the University of Sydney which has increased my desire to work with and support people of different abilities. As I currently tutor children in piano and school work, I have been able to support some children with learning difficulties and attention problems to become more engaged in and progress in educational pursuits. This has challenged me to use creative methods and build interpersonal relationships to enhance their learning. ^& ^&As I have been learning piano since the age of 5 (currently 19) and have developed a love for music, I would like to share the creativity and enjoyment music brings. Playing music for them, possibly teaching them, or using games which incorporate a muscial components would be a way of sharing this hobbie. ^&
