I am a peoples person, I love being around different people and learning and listening about their stories. Im the older sister in my family which makes me prone to being a helper. Although I haven't had much experience within the workforce I make it up by having an extreme determination in my work and always putting my heart and soul in what I do. However, the jobs in which I have done including being a carer has allowed me the opportunity to interact with individuals at all walks of life. I believe my experience as being a carer would definitely be beneficial within this role It has also allowed me to improve my communication, organisation and time management skills. Lastly, one thing about me is that I love cooking and baking a skill I hope I can share if I was chosen as a carer as a believe the best conversation are around food and its a great way to learn about someone. A skill I would share with someone in the community is my love for cooking which I share with almost everyone in my life whether its by tasting new things or giving a recipe to something they like or even giving tips. How I would share this would depend on the person but id start by asking them what they like and go from there. I find people tend to either want to try new things or stick to things that they are familiar with which is great. I would help them in the kitchen if they wanted or just give them tips and tricks if they wanted me to take a more backseat driver kinda role. I'd also share with them some of my favourite dishes and recipes and maybe cook that with them. Another hobby I'd share is arts and crafts which I would share by learning what type of art style they're interested in and artists they may like. Drawing and Colouring I find tend to be therapeutic something I would to start off to share with someone.
