I am an incredibly sociable and friendly person who loves working and interacting with people. I am currently studying Psychology and Criminology at Newcastle University, and have a passion for helping people and doing what I can to help improve their lives in the best ways that I can. I am comfortable and confident communicating with all different people, in multiple age ranges. Since 2020 I have worked as a coach at a soccer clinic with children age ranged from 2-7. I have always loved working with children and getting to spend time with them, creating a safe and trusting space, along teaching them things that they enjoy makes me very happy. I have also spent most of 2022 working as a medical receptionist where I have then had to communicate and help a predominately older network of people, helping them gain access to appropriate medical services. On a more personal level, my grandmother worked in areas of social work her whole life, and I watched admirably and in awe of how much she contributed to improving the quality of life for others. It's partly because of this that I think with the opportunity to, I would be beyond passionate and dedicated to provide the same level of support. In relation to my degree, I have been looking to expand my areas of knowledge and experience in medical and social-work-based fields, in which being a Social Carer would be beneficial in expanding my horizions. ^& ^&- I am very willing to embrace new hobbies and activities, i'm always looking to expand my horizons and skill set. - However, in regards to my own person hobbies, I am a very active person and am more than willing to share my soccer knowledge and go for a kick around at the park or attend a soccer game. I am also always down for a walk or a workout. - I also love reading and watching movies, but overall i'm really up for anything and love to try new things. ^&
