I love people. I love to be around people all the time. For a lot of the things that I have enjoyed and done in my life, its always around people. Beyond all that, I am just really passionate and want to create bonds with people. I want to make them feel safe and comfortable when they feel the most vulnerable, whether it's regarding physical or mental health. One of my greatest assets is listening, understanding and empathising with people. I have always had a strong connection to the elderly. I grew up with my grandparents who were almost 80 when they raised me as a new born. I feel so much gratitude towards them and I really want to lead a life that is so giving and caring with the small things that they have taught me. No matter how small, how big you feel or whatever the circumstance you are in, I want to be there for that person and let them know it's okay. Listen to them with patience and be there for them. I personally like the water, I enjoy swimming. When I share my skills with someone it may not be something which they are comfortable with. For example, just because I enjoy swimming freestyle I will not just take that person with me and tell them to start swimming just because I like it. Working with kids and babies who are new to swimming really helped me have an eye opening experience. When I introduce someone to this skills, I want to make them feel comfortable, make them enjoy what they are going to do. If it is swimming, maybe we can first dip our feet in the water, have a feel of the water and get that person to just enjoy and feel safe. From there, if they are keen to do more, I am more that happy to introduce small things step by step and share my passions with them. Another way I like to share my skills and hobbies are, to incorporate elements of things that they like into the new thing that they are learning. This almost allows a sense of familiarity specially if that person is someone who needs a little bit more patience than others. I also have worked with kids with Autism who find it a little bit difficult to just understand. For them I like to make things simpler and easier with more familiarity, and once they start enjoying it, it also makes you feel happy.
