I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and have been working in Marketing for 10 years, and now I'm doing Digital Marketing at Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong, where I met a lot of groups of people in need of support physically and mentally, and started to think about how I could make life better for them. I am settled in Wollongong with my husband and child. However, I logged into Australia three years ago during covid and as a new immigrant, I was helped by many friends in the Illawarra community and we were given free food and items to support us live. As I am about to get my permanent resident visa after three years, I would like to use my own passion to give back to the Illawarra community and help more friends who need support. I volunteer at Anglicare and seek more opportunities to support the community.^& ^&When I volunteer at Anglicare, I accompany the residents in various games and activities and service them lunch. I would also play the piano while they ate their dessert and accompany them for a walk in the garden after lunch.^&
