I enjoy helping people and getting a sense of satisfaction from seeing how my care makes a difference to people's lives. Seeing people that I care for achieve personal goals gives me a boost of confidence and reminds me why I enjoy working as a social carer.^& ^&I would share my skills and/or hobbies with someone in the community where I would help the person by working through the stages of planning, organising and implementing an activity plan. This plan will build social competency skills and support a person in becoming actively involved in planning their own recreation, hobbies and social pursits. ^&
