I have always been in roles within my life and work,where I am not only hairdressing or teaching but helping others with life skills.Most of the time I find people want company and want to be heard.I know I can talk but I can listen very well.This has enabled me to find everyone is different, I understand many different types of human behaviour and this makes working with people easy for me.I love enabling people to help themselves and discover great qualities and trades we all have.I think I would be great in this role as I have a lot of positive experiences with all types of diverse age groups.I have loved overseas and travelled so u derstand different cultures, customs and traditions.I feel a lot of empathy but can also positively motivate people and I have a lot of energy, people feel this and respond well,I feel I can help make positive impacts to peoples lives and would love to do this as my job. I love walks, gardening,fishing,movies.I love visiting concerts,museums.I love animals and kids.I am a hairdresser of 25 years and able to offer hairdressing services also if needed.I am a hairdressing teacher of 14 years.I enjoy talking,reading, learning, listening, teaching and trying new experiences.I am very easy going. I have a husband of 25 years, 2 kids aged 13 and 12, 2 dogs and a kitten.I have mentored students, had various family members, as well as worked on clients and with colleagues that have had Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression, Schizophrenia, Intellectual Disability, Chronic Pain, Developmental Delay, Speech Impairment and Domestic Violence situations.I have been able to comfortably find common ground to not only relate and assist them but also build strong relationships, this is why my passion is be able to make a difference and help as many people as I can.
