I am a very friendly and empathetic individual and love working with people! I am caring and passionate about supporting others and promoting good quality of life for everyone. I am 21 years old studying a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University and a Certificate of Human Resources at TAFE NSW. Currently I work at a social media marketing firm in Gordon called 'Social4U' and manage a pub in Chatswood called 'The Great Northern Hotel'. Previously I worked as an Out of School Hours Educator/ Responsible Person at Michelian OOSH Lane Cove. In this position I looked after children in years K-6 and supported a number of children with intellectual and physical disabilities and mental illnesses like Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Eating Disorders. I also cared for children with family-court orders and worked alongside their social workers. I also have a younger brother who I help look after and have been babysitting for other families since I was 16 years old. I believe my university studies so far, my past work-experience, and my empathetic and compassionate nature would make me a great Social Carer. For me there is so much reward in working for a company whose primary focus is on supporting and caring for others and I am very excited to get back into this field! ^& ^& I am a very open individual who loves experiencing new things and trying out new activities and in this role I really just want to be there to support others in doing what they want to do and see them enjoying themselves. I love fashion design, specifically up-cycling vintage and second-hand garments I have thrifted, and I also love reading, writing, going on bush walks with my dog, and going to the beach (also with my dog!). ^&
