I have had many years experience working as a support worker to people in crisis. During this time I have witnessed the difference that it can make in someone’s life when they have someone that is interested in them and shows kindness and empathy and cheers them on. In my personal life I have supported my husband to navigate the mental healthcare system and supported him on his journey as he lives with schizo-effective disorder. I enjoy working with people and believe in the power of encouragement. ^& ^&I would bring some of my beginner’s embroidery kits and schedule a time to learn together. However I would ask the person first if this is something they would like to do and learn before I jumped in. ^&
